I am a transformative psychosocial educator, therapeutic consultant, and trauma‑informed practitioner. My work lives at the intersection of counselling, psychological education, and reflective practice, guided by a commitment to ethical integrity and meaningful human connection. As a state‑regulated counsellor, psychotherapist, and experienced psychosocial trainer with more than twenty years in adult social care, I have worked across residential services, psychotherapeutic settings, adult learning environments, and community‑based projects. Across all of these spaces, my focus remains constant: creating safe, grounded conditions for learning, healing, and growth.
I qualified as a Person‑Centred (Rogerian) practitioner in 2009 and hold a degree in counselling theory and practice, postgraduate training in psychological therapies, and advanced qualifications in counselling psychology, psychiatry, clinical psychology, advanced psychology, educational psychology, and mental health practice. I am also professionally trained in coaching and cognitive behavioural therapy.
I have extensive experience supporting people with neurodiversity, substance and alcohol dependence, anger, anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, PTSD, and self‑esteem‑related difficulties. My approach is safe, competent, and individualised and shapes a therapeutic space shaped around each person’s unique wants and needs.
