Since 2016, I have delivered counselling and psychotherapy to individuals and groups, authored and facilitated Sheffield Mind’s anger‑management programme, and provided national training for organisations including the DWP, the NOCN, and a range of private and third‑sector services. Through this work, I have supported practitioners, teams, and services to deepen their understanding of mental‑health conditions, evidence‑based interventions, reflective‑practice frameworks, and person‑centred approaches. My training and consultancy draw on a blend of psychosocial education, therapeutic insight, and extensive real‑world experience within complex care environments.

Alongside organisational work, I continue to offer therapeutic support to people navigating a wide range of experiences, including neurodiversity, substance and alcohol dependence, anger, anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, PTSD, and self‑esteem‑related difficulties. My approach remains relational, ethical, and attuned—shaping each therapeutic space around the individual’s pace, needs, and wants, and honouring their unique way of making sense of the world.

Hiatus was created to offer a safe, fertile, and reflective environment for both personal and professional growth. Over the years, it has evolved into a practice that integrates counselling, psychosocial education, and consultancy, supporting individuals and organisations to cultivate conditions where learning, healing, and transformation can take root and flourish.
